Maybe this eggplant will get her out...

Penny's arrival date is quickly approaching. It's July 13th and she's due on July 18th. We wouldn't exactly mind if she decided to show up now. We'd heard about this little Italian restaurant called Scalini's that claims you'll likely go into labor within 48 hrs if you eat their eggplant parmesan. So we decided to give it a shot tonight. And we quickly discovered that we weren't the only ones to have heard about this magical recipe. You walk in and there are pictures everywhere of babies that have been born after the eggplant experience. We even passed other expecting couples and exchanged good luck wishes. When we sat down, the waitress didn't even have to ask Georgia what dish she wanted. She just said "Do you want meat sauce or marinara with your eggplant?" So, here's a picture from our dinner. And no, that's not a bowl of peach oatmeal that I'm eating.

Georgia also "presented" Penny Rose to the full moon last night because apparently that's supposed to work too. She kept saying "presented," which I think sounds weird but it just means she pointed her belly at it.

So we'll let you guys know in a few hrs when the eggplant and the moon kick in.
